Nintendo 3DS XL Goes Pink x White in Japan in September

Nintendo announced during its streaming Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday that it will launch a Pink x White variant of its Nintendo 3DS XL handheld unit on September 27. The fourth Japanese general-release color variant of the 3DS XL (known as the 3DS LL in Japan) will go on sale on September 27, the same day that the latest Wagamama Fashion: Girls Mode (Style Savvy/Nintendo presents: Style Boutique) game, Wagamama Fashion: Girls Mode: Yokubari Sengen!
The Pink x White 3DS XL will retail for the same Japanese price as the earlier Red x Black, Silver x Black, and White versions: 18,900 yen (about US$241). There is also a limited-edition Pikachu Yellow version, but it was selling out within hours at Pokémon Centers throughout Japan this past weekend.
