Hayate the Combat Butler's New Anime Cast, Staff Revealed

This year's 35th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is confirming on Wednesday the cast and staff for Hayate the Combat Butler Can't Take My Eyes Off You, the brand-new television series that will premiere this October. The series will tell a new story that is original to the anime and not directly based on existing material from Kenjirō Hata's original manga. However, Hata personally created the story concepts for the new anime.
The anime features the return of the following voice cast members:
- Ryōko Shiraishi as Hayate Ayasaki
- Rie Kugimiya as Nagi Sanzenin
- Rie Tanaka as Maria
- Shizuka Itou as Hinagiku Katsura
- Mikako Takahashi as Ayumu Nishizawa
- Ayumi Fujimura as Chiharu Harukaze
- Haruka Yamazaki as Ruka Suirenji
The main staff members will include:
- Director, character designer: Masashi Kudo
- Director: Yooichi Ueda
- Series composition: Rie Koshika
- Sound director: Toshiki Kameyama
- Music: Wataru Maeguchi
The studio Manglobe will return to produce the anime. eyelis will perform the opening theme song "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," while Yamazaki will perform the ending song "Koi no Wana" (Love Trap) as her character Ruka.
