NIS' Tokushu Hōdōbu PSVita Game's Promo Streamed

The Japanese video game news website Gamer began streaming a promotional trailer for Nippon Ichi Software's Tokushu Hōdōbu (Special News Department) "supernatural phenomenon reporting adventure" video game on Thursday. NIS is producing Tokushu Hōdōbu as its second 20th anniversary commorative title alongside Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox.
Elements Garden is producing the background music for the game. The band Rey will perform the opening theme song "Ideal," and Aira Yūki will perform the ending theme song "DestiNAtion Destiny." Hiro Kiyohara (Another manga) is handling the character design for the game.
In the game the player is a member of a special news club that investigates supernatural phenomenon for the television program "Tokuhō." The game stars Tomoaki Maeno as Ryo Yuhara, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Mamoru Sumi, Miyuki Sawashiro as Aya Tanahashi, Asami Seto as Kaede Watarai, Keiji Fujiwara as Akio Sasori, Saki Fujita as Chika Murase, and Shinichirō Miki as Kumazaki.
The game will also feature crossover cameos from characters in the Uta no Prince Sama franchise.
NIS will release the game on the PlayStation Vita on August 23 for 5,800 yen (about US$73) or 5,000 yen (about US$63) for the downloadable version.
