AKB48 Pachinko Game Slated for Summer

Latest game incarnation of idol group slated for release later this month.
The pachinko machine maker Kyoraku Sangyo is creating a pachinko game based on Japanese idol group AKB48. A special lottery drawing will give 150 winning applicants a pair of tickets to attend the July 12 launch event at Yokohama Arena. Members of AKB48 will make a special appearance to ring in the game's launch.
Kyoraku created games based on anime properties such as Combattler V and Ultraman Taro.
AKB48 previously appeared in two PlayStation Portable dating games in 2010 and 2011, and the 3DS idol-training game AKB48+Me is slated for release this fall.
