ClariS, Hiiragi Sing Moyashimon Returns Anime Themes

The official Twitter account for the Moyashimon Returns anime series confirmed that the teenaged female duo ClariS and the female band Hiiragi will perform the series' theme songs. ClariS will contribute the opening theme song "Wake Up," while Hiiragi will provide the ending theme song "Saikin" (Recently).
ClariS has performed theme song for Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Oreimo, and Nisemonogatari. The pair's first album debuted at #2 on Oricon's weekly CD album sales chart this April. The duo will release "Wake Up" on their fifth single CD, which will ship in Japan on August 15.
Hiiragi sang the opening theme song for the fourth Natsume's Book of Friends television anime series. The group released their debut album in 2010, and "Saikin" will ship on their ninth single CD on August 22.
Moyashimon Returns will premiere on July 5 as the second television anime adaptation of Masayuki Ishikawa's Moyashimon manga. The first television anime series aired in Noitamina in 2007, followed by a live-action adaptation with lead actor Yūichi Nakamura in the same block in 2010.
