Smile Precure! Let's Go! Märchen World Game's 1st Ad Aired

The first commercial for Bandai Namco's Smile Precure! Let's Go! Märchen World aired this weekend. The 15-second ad opens with animated footage of characters Akane Hino as Aladdin, Yayoi Kise as Red Riding Hood, Nao Midorikawa as Peter Pan, Reika Aoki as Princess Kaguya, and Miyuki Hoshizora as Snow White.
The magical girl franchise's first 3DS game will ship in Japan on August 2 for 5,040 yen (about US$63) . Enterbrain's Famitsu magazine revealed the game last month.
In the game, players will complete minigames to restore happy endings in various classic stories and fairy tales ("märchen" in German). When players clear each story's minigame, outfits and decorations inspired by the story will become available. Players will then dress their Precure franchise characters in clothes from the stories and pose them to the beat of a tambourine in the game's fashion show mode. Players can also take photos with the characters and read the stories in game.
