In conjunction with its previously announced PSP game Tiger & Bunny On Air Jack!, Namco Bandai Games announced plans for a Tiger & Bunny social game and smartphone app.

Tentatively titled as just Tiger & Bunny, the social game will allow players to collect anime-inspired cards on quests, train and develop their abilities, and then battle one another for the title of "King of Heroes." Namco Bandai plans to release the game on Japanese feature phones and smartphones in early July.

Another tentatively titled Tiger & Bunny smartphone app will allow players to interact with characters via screen taps. The app will use the same "Live2D" animation feature that Namco Bandai has used in Haruhi Suzumiya, Oreimo, Haganai, and Tokimeki Girl's Side software to animate 2D characters' expressions as if they were 3D. Users can choose from a set of commands to trigger special events, and the app will also feature Twitter and alarm features. Namco Bandai will release the app on smartphones in ealy July.

The Tiger & Bunny On Air Jack! PSP game will arrive on September 20, two days before Tiger & Bunny the Movie: The Beginning opens in theaters. Players will control the lead character Wild Tiger as he battles threats in various cases to become the "King of Heroes."

The action game will retail at 6,280 yen (about US$79). The limited first edition of the game will tentatively include a product code for a custom PSP theme, an exclusive sticker set, and a serial code for a limited card in the social game. Pre-ordered copies will also come with a bonus poster.
