The video game developer 5pb. has opened an English website for its Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds -Cocoa's Nightmare Attack- action video game for the Xbox 360. The website is also currently streaming an English-language trailer for the game.
The website notes that Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds -Cocoa's Nightmare Attack- will be released only on the XBox Live Arcade in 2013. 5pb. has not announced a finalized English release plan or date for the game.
The game stars super-deformed versions of characters from the original Phantom Breaker fighting game, and up to four players can play cooperatively.
7sixty, a subsidiary of the video game publisher SouthPeak Games, is publishing an English version of Phantom Breaker on the Xbox 360. The game was originally slated to be released in early 2012. Currently, Amazon lists that the game will ship on September 26 and the Gamestop retailer lists that the game will ship on August 1. The game was originally released in Japan in June 2011.
7sixty plans to release a special edition of Phantom Breaker that will include a mini strategy guide, concept artwork from manga artist Hiro Suzuhira (Akikan!, Shuffle!, Ginban Kaleidoscope), a desk calendar, and two double-sided posters.
