posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The official CAPCOM Unity website began streaming the second part of the Street Fighter X Tekken PlayStation Vita game's cinematic short on Monday. The nine-minute video continues the story from the game's first cinematic video and features the main characters from the Street Fighter and Tekken fighting game franchises.
CAPCOM Unity also posted two additional videos that feature the characters Bryan, Jack, Lars, Alisa, Guy, and Cody.
In addition, the website began streaming a new English-language trailer for the crossover fighting game.
CAPCOM will release the PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken this fall. The developer confirmed on Tuesday that the new version will introduce touch controls as well as local and Wi-Fi multiplayer modes plus Near functionality.
The release will include 12 extra characters not yet available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Street Fighter characters Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley, and Blanka and the Tekken characters Alisa, Christie, Jack, Bryan, Lars, and Lei will be available in the PlayStation Vita game.
CAPCOM announced in January that the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game will include Mega Man, Pac-Man, Infamous protagonist Cole, and the PlayStation mascot cats Kuro and Toro.
Street Fighter X Tekken shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan, North America, and Europe in March.
