Madoka Magica, Sanrio's My Melody Unite for Crossover Goods

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime is teaming up with Sanrio's popular character My Melody for a line of collaboration goods that will go on sale in mid-July. Madoka Magica's title character and My Melody will merge into one character, while Madoka Magica's Homura Akemi and Sanrio's Kuromi will have their own mash-up.
The lineup includes:
plush figures (2,415 yen/about US$30)
petite towels (525 yen/US$7)
notebooks (420 yen/US$5)
rubber mobile phone straps (525 yen/US$7) and plastic cups (525 yen/US$7)
Kadokawa Shoten's Tokyo Walker magazine reports that if these items are a hit, more items may be made for Sayaka, Mami, Kyōko, and the other Madoka Magica characters.
