47 One Piece Stamps Issued in May — 1 for Each Prefecture
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Post offices across Japan will begin selling One Piece-themed postage stamps starting on May 14. The Amada Printing Manufacturing Company created 47 stamps in all, one for each prefecture in Japan. Each of the stamps feature an original design of The One Piece character Tony Tony Chopper in his "New World" outfit accompanied by a specialty product or food from each prefecture.
Fans can also purchase a "One Piece Local Letter Set ~New World Version~" for 530 yen (US$6.65). The set will include four envelopes, 10 pieces of stationary, one of two available sticker sheets, and a postcard. The Japanese post office's website is offering different letter sets for each prefecture.
