Tiger & Bunny's Lead Actors Reprise Roles for Stage Play

The official website for Tiger & Bunny the Live, the stage play adaptation of the costumed hero anime Tiger & Bunny, announced the cast on Monday. The two lead voice actors from the anime are reprising their roles for the play — but only for the characters out of costume:

Tiger & Bunny the Live will run at Tokyo's Zepp Diver City theater from August 24 to September 1. (The theater is at the same complex as the life-size Gundam and mini Gundam theme park. According to the official website, the play aims to have realistic action in hero "suits," an original story, and the latest techniques in theatrical productions.
Anime scriptwriter Yasuko Kobayashi (Shakugan no Shana, Trigun: Badlands Rumble) and playwright Tadahiro Mōri are co-writing the play. Taisuke Morisaki is serving as chief director, while Morihito Kamizato is the actual hands-on director. Osamu Kaneda, a director of many Kamen Rider projects, is an "acting creator."
