Rock Band nano.ripe Performs Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Theme
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita television anime series announced on Saturday that the rock band nano.RIPE will perform the anime's opening theme song, while Masumi Itou is singing the ending theme song. The site also revealed that Unshou Ishizuka will play the grandfather of the protagonist (who is played by Mai Nakahara).
Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita had its own booth in Anime Contents Expo in Chiba this weekend, and the booth is passing out advance copies of Gekkan Tanaka Romeo (Monthly Romeo Tanaka), a free, full-color publication promoting the light novelist behind the story of the anime.
Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita is set several centuries into the slow decline of mankind. Earth has now become the realm of "fairies" — 10-centimeter-tall (about 4-inch-tall) creatures with remarkable intelligence. The human protagonist of the story serves an important duty as the international arbitrator between the fairies and humans, and she returns to her former hometown of Kusunoki. She chose this job because she thought it was an easy job she can do, even when she is as old as her grandfather. However, she learns that her job is anything but simple when she meets the fairies.
The series will premiere this July.
