Miss Street Fighter x Tekken Cosplayers Pose for Cameras
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
CAPCOM posted the first round of fans' photograph submissions for its Miss Street Fighter x Tekken campaign this week. The "Miss SutoKuro Collection" campaign promotes the Street Fighter x Tekken crossover fighting game, which shipped for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on March 6, in Japan on March 8, and in Europe on March 9.
The contest asks people to take pictures of four young women cosplaying as the Street Fighter and characters Chun-Li (Nami Ksuya) and Cammy (Kaoruko Fujita) and the Tekken characters Nina (Rina Ōtsuka) and Asuka (Momo Itou). The cosplayers made their first public appearance last Saturday, and fans will also be able to take pictures of them in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward on Saturday and in the Akihabara and Yūtenji districts on March 24. CAPCOM is posting five of the submitted photograph entries on the campaign website every week, and winners will be announced on April 6.
People who submit the two best pictures will each receive a Street Fighter x Tekken Collector's Package set that bundles a charcoal black PlayStation 3 console and the "Street Fighter x Tekken Fight Stick Pro" accessory with the game. Three winners of the "Pandora Shot Prize" will each receive a set of two 25th anniversary original hooded sweatshirts, and ten winners of the "Gekisha no Gem Prize" will each receive an original smartphone case. Adhesive bandage sets with the game's logo are also being distributed at photography event locations.
