Yoko Ishida Returns to Sing Strike Witches Film Theme

The singer Yoko Ishida sing the theme song "Yakusoku no Sora ~Watashi no Ita Basho~" for the Strike Witches film, which will open in Japan on Saturday. The song features in a one-minute video that the film's voice cast presented on Saturday.
Ishida performed opening theme songs for both the Strike Witches television anime series and the Strike Witches 2 sequel. The singer has also contributed theme songs for anime including Ah! My Goddess, Ai Yori Aoshi, Prétear, and Sailor Moon R.
The Strike Witches film will feature a new 12th witch named Sergeant Shizuka Hattori. AIC (Tenchi Muyo!, El Hazard, Oreimo) is producing the film directed by Kazuhiro Takamura (Strike Witches televlsion series).
The television anime's first season aired from July to September of 2008, and the second series ran from July to September of 2010.
