Metal Gear Rex Figure to Be Sold by Hong Kong-Based threeA Toys

1/48 scale figure, US$490 figure pre-orders began on March 2
Hong Kong-based threeA toys announced that the company's 1/48 scale Metal Gear Rex figure (from the Metal Gear Solid game series) would be available for pre-order on March 2 for a price of US$490. An initial prototype of the camouflage patterned figure was exhibited in 2009. The toy was available from threeA's official Bambaland store, but pre-orders have since closed. However, the Sideshow Collectibles hobby site will also be accepting pre-orders for the figure this Friday from their website, where they have also posted additional images of the toy.
