Namco Bandai Games Europe began streaming a gameplay demonstration video for its Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Monday. The 9-minute video showcases several rounds of gameplay between a young Kakashi, Obito, and Minato against the Sound Five: kimimaro, Tayuya, Kodomaru, Sakon, and Jirobo. The company previously streamed two similar gameplay videos featuring various characters last month.
CyberConnect2's new game now has more than 70 characters in its roster and has more than 65 minutes of new anime sequence from the television anime's Studio Pierrot. Like in previous games in the series, players can host online tournaments with other people, in addition to the standalone story mode. The updated battle system now features faster gameplay as well as new moves and battle modes from later installments of the Naruto storyline.
The game shipped in Japan on February 23, and it will ship in the United States on March 13, and in Europe on March 30. Those who pre-order the game in Europe will receive a soundtrack CD with "the first official rap single of Killer Bee."
