The Japanese videogame news site 4Gamer began streaming a 12-minute gameplay video for Compile Heart's Touch Shot! -Love Application- dating simulation game on Tuesday.
Lantis, the music subsidiary of Bandai Visual, also began streaming an 8-minute audio preview on Tuesday for the Touch Shot! -Love Application- Vocal Collection CD, which will also go on sale on February 23.
In the game, the protagonist mysteriously receives a new smartphone in the mail called a "yPhone" that comes with an application called "Satori" that allows him to be able to read the minds of the girls around him and learn their secrets. The "yPhone" allows the player to e-mail or talk to girls with the phone's video capabilities and ask them on dates. The protagonist can choose from four girls and develop a romantic relationship with one or more of them. Compile Heart will release downloadable content for the game that adds functions to the "yPhone."
The game will feature Misato Fukuen as Mayu Shinonome, Yūko Gotō as Satsuki Aiba, Asami Shimoda as Kaya Kinosaki, and Marina Inoue as Aoi Takigawa. Illustrator Katsuyuki Hirano is handling the game's character designs and Sayaka Sasaki is performing the game's opening theme song.
The game will ship for the PlayStation 3 console in regular and limited editions in Japan on February 23. The limited edition will cost 9,429 yen (about US$118) and the regular edition will cost 7,329 yen (about US$92).
