Singer Ichiro Mizuki Pitches Latest Super Robot Wars Game

The Japanese singer Ichirō Mizuki pitches the Dai-2-ji Super Robot Taisen Z Saisei-Hen game in a 15-second television commercial that Namco Bandai Games began streaming on Friday. The title will be the second half of the Super Robot Wars Z II simulation role-playing game project.
Mizuki is known as the aniki (big brother) of Japan's anime music genre. He has performed theme songs for Mazinger Z, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, Voltron, and various live-action Kamen Rider television series and movies.
Namco Bandai Games posted the game's first promotional video earlier this month. Dai-2-ji Super Robot Taisen Z Saisei-Hen will add the following anime titles to its lineup of over 40 robot series:
- Mobile Suit Gundam 00
- Taiyo no Shisha Tetsujin 28-go (New Gigantor)
- Macross Dynamite 7
- Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
- Gurren Lagann the Movie – The Lights in the Sky Are Stars- (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Ragan-hen)
The game will cost 7,330 yen (about US$95) and ship for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on April 5.
