Gundam UC PS3 Game's 30-Second TV Ad Streamed

Namco Bandai Games began airing a 30-second television commercial for the March 8 release of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn PlayStation 3 video game. The video features both cutscene and gameplay footage.

From Software (Armored Core, Another Century's Episode) is developing the PlayStation 3 game based on the Mobile Suit Gundam UC video anime series. The game — the first for the video anime — will cover the story from the first three anime volumes. Part of the game will follow the story from the viewpoint of the main character Banagher, while other parts will follow the story from the viewpoints of the rival characters Marida and Frontal.

The special edition of the video game will bundle a Mobile Suit Gundam UC: Sengo no Sensō (Mobile Suit Gundam UC: The Postwar War) novel by Harutoshi Fukui, the original author of the Gundam UC anime series. The limited-edition bundle will also include a Blu-ray "Mobile Suit Gundam UC Collector's Disc"; the disc feature a digest of the first three episodes of the Gundam Unicorn anime series, as well as a digest video of the October 1 "Film & Live" premiere event for the fourth episode.

The game's limited edition will sell for 7,980 yen (about US$104), while the regular edition will be priced at 5,040 yen (US$65). People who buy the first release of the game will receive a product code for downloading the Delta Gundam mobile suit in the game.
