Corpse Party Horror Game Gets iPod/iPhone Release

The PlayStation Portable version of the Corpse Party horror game will be ported to the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad in Japan on February 9. XSEED Games originally released the PlayStation Portable version of the game in North America on November 22.
Corpse Party is a 2D adventure game that tells the story of a group of Kisaragi Academy High School students who are trapped in an elementary school haunted by children who disappeared. Players try to survive the violence that befalls the teenagers as they try to escape from the decaying bodies of the children. The game offers 2D sprite animation and tile art to illustrate the fates of the students.
Corpse Party was originally developed as an independent title by &TEAM GrisGris, and was adapted for the PlayStation Portable system by 5pb. and released in Japan in August 2010. The iOS port will sell for 2,200 yen (about $29).
The Corpse Party: Blood Covered manga series, based on the original &TEAM GrisGris game, has been running in Square Enix's Gangan Powered and Gangan Joker magazines since 2008.
