Lollipop Chainsaw Game's Outfits Trailer Streamed

The official YouTube channel for Suda 51 and James Gunn's Lollipop Chainsaw zombie-hunting action game began streaming a 65-second trailer for the game on Thursday. The new trailer features outfits worn by the game's protagonist Juliet Sterling, who is normally a blonde cheerleader. Juliet fights with her disembodied-head boyfriend as a sidekick. Those who pre-order the game will be able to choose between five alternative costumes for Juliet.

Grasshopper Manufacture (Heroman, Rebuild of Evangelion: Sound Impact) and Kadokawa Games are co-producing the game, which is due for a release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles this year. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will release the game outside of all Asian territories.

James Gunn, writer-director of last year's film Super, co-writer of the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, and writer-director of the films Tromeo and Juliet and Slither, is supervising the game's story scenario. Suda51 (No More Heroes) is acting as creative director for the game.

The Inside Xbox video magazine previously streamed a trailer for the game last month.
