Hello Kitty redesigned as Evangelion's Rei & Asuka in stationery, clothing, accessories
The character brand companies Sanrio and Groundworks will launch a line of collaborative products between Khara's new Evangelion films and Sanrio's popular Hello Kitty character this May. The line commemorates this fall's release of the Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo anime film with Hello Kitty redesigned in the motif of Evangelion's Rei Ayanami and Shikinami Asuka Langley. Stationery, goods, clothing, accessories, and other items will be rolled out for sale under licensing agreements with about 10 companies. Sanrio already launched a similar collaboration with The One Piece anime.
