Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney iPhone App Promotes Film
posted on by Egan Loo
The game maker CAPCOM launched a Minna de Igi Ari! (Objection, Everyone!) app in the Japanese App Store for iOS devices (such as the iPhone and iPad) on Thursday. The app promotes the upcoming live-action film adaptation of CAPCOM's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) game by offering video/audio samples of three of Phoenix Wright's signature catchphrases: "Objection" ("Igi ari!"), "Hold it" ("Matta!"), and "Take That" ("Kurae!").
Users can mail or Tweet their friends a customizable sample of actor Hiroki Narimiya (Gokusen's Noda, NANA's Nobu, Akihabara @ DEEP's Page) shouting those phrases as Phoenix Wright (Ryuichi Naruhodo). The app also has a demo of the first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game itself. (The game itself is a separate free app, but that app charges users to play each chapter.)
The film will open in Japan on February 11.
