Voice Actress Aoi Yūki Draws Co-Stars' Phones as Moe Characters

The voice actress Aoi Yūki (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-, A-Channel) posted drawings of her own and fellow voice actresses' cell phones as moe characters on her blog last week.

Yūki personified the cell phones of Saori Hayami (Eden of the East, Star Driver, Bakuman.; yellow lettering), Minako Kotobuki (K-ON!, Towa no Quon, A-Channel; green lettering), and Nao Tōyama (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Star Driver, The World God Only Knows; blue lettering) as well as her own (pictured right) for a Coming of Age Day event on January 15. The actress wrote a description of each moe character next to her illustration.

All four voice actresses celebrated Coming of Age Day this year. The annual Japanese holiday takes place on the second Monday in January and honors young adults as they turn 20 years old.
