The Sakar International electronics company unveiled a Hello Kitty Android tablet at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 10 to 13.
According to the GottaBeMobile website, the gadget will "probably cost" US$200 when it is released this fall. The Hello Kitty tablet runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, has a 7-inch capacitive matte display, and can access WiFi networks. The device's features also include two mini USB ports, a microSD slot, a mini HDMI port, and a camera.
Japan's Mouse Computer company released the LuvBook S Hello Kitty Model notebook computer last November for 69,930 yen (US$900). About 1,100 Swarovski crystals decorate the red laptop, and it comes with three Hello Kitty wallpapers and a Hello Kitty screensaver pre-installed.
