Samurai & Dragons PS Vita Game's Teaser Streamed
posted on by Kimberly Grace
The creators of the Samurai & Dragons began streaming a 30-second teaser trailer for the fantasy action game on Monday. The trailer offers a brief look at gameplay style and features.
Masayoshi Kikuchi (Yakuza games), the game's chief producer, stated that the concept was a game with goblins, dragons, ninja, and samurai. Samurai & Dragons features an action portion in which four players can seek out and fight monsters prowling in a dungeon. Clearing the final floor and defeating the boss monster will earn equipment items and magical beast cards that can be used in the card battle part. In town, players can form alliances with each other and engage in card battles to expand their territories. The town serves as each player's base of operations.
Sega posted a 91-second introduction video for the game last month. A playable version of Samurai & Dragons appeared at Shueisha's Jump Festa event in December, and Sega will release the game for the PS Vita platform in Japan in spring 2012.
