Top Manga Creators Ranked by Da Vinci Magazine Voters

The January issue of Media Factory's literary magazine Da Vinci published its 12th annual "Book of the Year" chart and related lists on Tuesday. A group of 4,986 "book lovers," including professional book reviewers, bookstore employees, and Da Vinci readers, selected this year's lists. Just as in last year, Eiichiro Oda received double the number of votes as the #2 male manga creator. Chica Umino topped the list of favorite female manga creator for the third year in a row.

In the same issue, three manga made the top 10 list of favorite books overall: One Piece (#3), March comes in like a lion (#6), and Fullmetal Alchemist (#10). The Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2011 guidebook published a different set of lists for the favorite manga for male, favorite manga for female readers, and favorite manga magazines.
