Ustream to broadcast annual award ceremony live on December 5
The Twitter account for the PlayStation Awards 2011 revealed on Wednesday that Sony will stream the award ceremony live on Ustream on Monday, December 5 starting at 4:30 p.m in Japan (2:30 a.m. EST).
The annual award ceremony has been held since 1995. The following games won awards at the event last year:
Platinum Prize (for shipping more than 1 million copies in Japan):

Gold Prize (for shipping more than 500,000 units in Japan):
- Phantasy Star Portable 2
- Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP the Best version)

- God Eater
- Yakuza 4
- Hokuto Musō (Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage)
- Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
- Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airu Village
PlayStation Store Special Prize:
- Wizardry: Dungeon of the Imprisoned Souls
