Historical TV Anime Kingdom's Cast Listed

Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine is revealing on Thursday the voice cast for next year's television anime adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara's historical manga Kingdom:
Masakazu Morita as Xin
Rie Kugimiya as Karyō Ten
Rikiya Koyama as Ō-Ki
Jun Fukuyama as Zheng
Yōko Hikasa as Jiang Lei
The story begins with Xin and Hyō, two boys without families in the Warring States Period of China. The region been embroiled in war for five centuries. Despite living like slaves, the boys strive to realize their dream of becoming warlords. The manga has been running in Weekly Young Jump since 2006, and the 24th volume shipped in Japan this month.
Jun Kamiya (D.I.C.E., Blue Seed, The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye) will direct the anime series, and Naruhisa Arakawa (Blue Seed, Steel Angel Kurumi, Elemental Gelade) will be in charge of series scripts.
