Blood-C Vampire Anime Film to Be Titled 'The Last Dark'

The January issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that the Blood-C anime film will be titled Blood-C: The Last Dark. The last episode of the Blood-C television anime series had already revealed in September that the film will open in theaters in Japan on June 2, 2012.
The manga creator team CLAMP developed the story and original character designs for the vampire television series and film, and Production I.G has been animating both projects.
Ranmaru Kotone (Diasta of Ultima Thule, Toki wo Kakeru Shōjo: Tokikake) has also been adapting the project into a manga, which launched in Shōnen Ace in May. A separate manga version launched in Newtype Ace in September.
Niconico, the English version of the online video service Nico Nico Douga, streamed the television series outside of Japan as it aired.
