Vocaloid Idol Hatsune Miku Joins Online Card Game Alteil

The English site for the Japanese online card game Alteil announced on Monday that the virtual Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku is joining the game via 15 cards with all-new art by different artists. The contributors include miogrobin, Nan Yaegashi, shirakaba, atro, Kiyotaka Haimura (Toaru Majutsu no Index), Hirotaka Akaga, Deino, bob, Toshiaki Takayama, Kutara, meola, Yamato Yamaamoto, Yuu, poporucha, and Jyuu Ayakura.
Some of the cards will be available both as free giveaways and as prizes for participating in Alteil with Hatsune Miku Events on the Tokyo Otaku Mode Facebook page between October 17 and November 13. Alteil is also offering Miku avatars for its site.
Gamepot launched the game in conjunction with Media Blasters in 2008 with card illustrations from popular artists such as model art creator Yūji Kaida (Godzilla, Gundam) and character designer Katsuya Terada (Blood: The Last Vampire, Hellboy film).
