The Idolm@ster 2 PS3 Port to Feature Hatsune Miku Herself

Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of The IDOLM@STER 2 game will feature the Vocaloid idol singer Hatsune Miku herself, via downloadable content. Miku and the other idols in the game will compete onstage in the game, and her songs such as "World is Mine" will rise or fall in the ranking charts, depending on the success of all the idols.

Weekly Famitsu already revealed last month that the game will have costumes inspired by Hatsune Miku that other idols can wear in the game.

In the original Xbox 360 version of the game, the player manages the careers of 10 aspiring Japanese idol singers as a producer. The Xbox 360 version inspired the recent television anime series. The PlayStation 3 version will ship on October 27.
