Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Beginning Story to reproduce Gen Urobuchi's story treatment
The Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten announced that it will publish the Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Beginning Story book in November. The book will reproduce the entire "draft #0" of the story treatment that Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) wrote for the television anime series that aired earlier this year. The book will cost 1,260 yen (about US$16.40).
Aniplex of America will release the anime itself with English subtitles and dubbing in North America at a date to be announced later. Aniplex describes the story as follows:
Urobuchi discussed the original concepts of the story in an interview with the Asahi Shimbun paper in August.
