posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The Ustream website will stream the Do as Infinity "12th Anniversary ~FREE SOUL! FREE SPIRITS!~Vol.3~" event for Free! on Sunday, October 2 at 5:00 p.m. in Japan (4:00 a.m. EDT). The concert itself will start at 5:30 p.m. The Nico Nico Douga website will also stream the event. Viewers do not need to log in to the Nico Nico Douga website to view the stream. The live event will take place at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in Tokyo. The group streamed their 11th anniversary concert and a part of another concert on Nico Nico Douga last year.
The pop music group Do as Infinity performed the "Fukai Mori" and "Shinjitsu no Uta" ending theme songs for the first InuYasha television anime series, and they also can be heard in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Zoids Genesis, and the live-action Uzumaki film. The members announced in 2008 that they were reuniting on the band's ninth anniversary, and they recorded the "Kimi ga Inai Mirai" opening theme song for the television sequel InuYasha: The Final Act in 2009.
The group will provide the ending theme song for the upcoming Sengoku Basara 3: Utage game, which goes on sale on November 10. Do as Infinity will release their single for that ending theme on November 16.
Avex will also be streaming a week-long event on Ustream from October 3 through October 7 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m in Japan (11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EDT October 2 through October 6). The show will feature a talk and a musical performance from Hatsune and Kumiko, TRIPLANE, KEN THE 390, Hiroki Maekawa, and SUPER☆GiRLS.
