NIS America to Release Disgaea, Neptunia, Clan of Champions Games

NIS America confirmed on Friday that it will release the following titles in the United States:

• Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound strategy role-playing game for Android (Winter 2011)


• Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 role-playing game for PlayStation 3 (2012)


• Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention strategy role-playing game for PlayStation Vita (pictured right, 2012)


• Clan of Champions (working title) action game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC (2012)

NIS America describes the games as follows:

Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound
Disgaea's game system is simple yet addictive. It has the same basic concept as other strategy RPGs, but uses many unique features and enhancements that make this game unprecedented. The Android version of Disgaea has been streamlined, but it will keep the same gameplay we all know and love.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2
Return once more to the world of Gamindustri, where the Criminal of the Free World, Arfoire, has defeated the four CPUs of Gamindustri. It is now up to their younger sisters to free them from captivity.

Nepgear, the CPU Candidate of Planeptune and younger sister to Neptune, sets out on her quest with IF and Compa to regain Gamindustri's prosperity, stop the syndicate of evil that Arfoire created, and set her sister free! During her travels across the world, Nepgear will encounter friends new and old, meet the other CPU Candidates, and take care of any monsters that stand in her way in this classic JRPG tale of good versus evil!

Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention
Disgaea®3 is the third game in the Disgaea® series, a hardcore, turn-based strategy RPG series made popular on the PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Portable. In Disgaea®, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges based on level and weapons equipped. There are other special game systems that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many of which are unique to the Disgaea® series.

Clan of Champions
Clan of Champions is a hardcore multiplayer action game. You will choose from 3 different characters - human, elf, or orc - and take on missions, each of which is different in content and length. You can either play by yourself or with other players in co-op mode, and up to 3 players can play simultaneously online. There is also a 3 vs 3 team battle mode where you can fight with, and against, your friends. There will be a large amount of DLC for additional quests, items, and weapons for the future.
