1st One Piece Opening's Kitadani to Sing New Theme

posted on by Egan Loo
"We go!" written, composed by same team that created 1st theme song "We Are!"

The 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that singer Hiroshi Kitadani will return to The One Piece television series to perform the anime's new theme song "We go!" The song will premiere with the October 2 episode, which is also the launch of the New World story arc.

Weekly Shonen Jump describes the new song as an "answer song" in response to "We Are!" — the first One Piece opening theme that Kitadani also sang. Shouko Fujibayashi and Kouhei Tanaka wrote and composed "We Are!" and the "golden team" will return in the same roles for "We go!"
