posted on by Andrew Osmond
The games company Arc System Works began streaming a 92-second trailer for its BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend game on Friday. This update on the "next-generation 2D fighting game" BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will ship for the PlayStation Vita platform this winter, and it is also slated for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
The trailer shows the game's network mode, which allows for 2-on-2, 3-on-3, 2-on-4, and other player permutations. On the PlayStation Vita Community site, Hiroyuki Masuno and Toshimichi Mori of Arc Systems Works were asked if the game would have cross-platform support between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems. Masuno said that they would like to support cross-platform play if at all possible.
