Tokyo's Animate Akiba Hosts 1-Week Madoka Magica Shop

The Akihabara Animate store in Tokyo will host a special Puella Magi Madoka Magica shop for one week from August 27 - September 4.
The 7th-floor shop will display a reproduction of Madoka Magica character Homura Akemi's room and life-size display panels of the five magical girls. The shop will also sell new merchandise with illustrations, including a sticker poster, a jumbo cushion, a sports towel, and the character Mami's black tea. The shop will also have advance sales of a messenger bag, a Kyubey cushion, a Kyubey plush mobile phone strap, and Madoka Magica-themed curry.
Animate and other companies have in the past offered a reversible plush of the Charlotte the Dessert Witch character, a Puella Magi Madoka Magica Production Design Collection book, and a Puella Magi Madoka Magica-themed starter deck and booster pack for the popular "Precious Memories" card game.
