posted on by Egan Loo
The September 1 issue of Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that former CAPCOM game creator Keiji Inafune is collaborating with Idea Factory on Bakudan Handan (Bomb Judgment), a mystery/dating simulation game for female gamers.
The story centers around a warning of a bomb by a mysterious costumed character at a theme park. In the process of uncovering the truth, the protagonist meets several male characters with whom she may fall in love. The protagonist can talk with her uncle, who happens to be named Keiji Inafune.
The real-life Inafune designed the iconic character Rockman/Mega Man, and he produced the Onimusha and Dead Rising game franchises until he left CAPCOM last year. For Bakudan Handan, Inafune is producing the theme park setting, which is full of attractions with videogame motifs.
Bakudan Handan will ship for the PSP platform in Japan next year. The regular edition will cost 6,090 yen (about US$79), while the limited edition will cost 8,190 yen (US$107).
Weekly Famitsu is also revealing that FuRyu is developing a Nintendo 3DS musical rhythm game inspired by the Jewelpet anime franchise. Jewelpet: Mahō no Rhythm de Yay! is slated for this winter for 5,229 yen (US$68).
