posted on by Egan Loo
Sunrise producer Masayuki Ozaki revealed at the Tiger & Bunny panel at Otakon on Sunday that Namco Bandai Games "is now developing a video game" version of his studio's Tiger & Bunny anime series. Ozaki did not specify which platform or platforms will support the game. Ozaki also noted that Sunrise is "getting offers to do stuffed dolls of the characters."
The anime centers around heroes for hire — super powered beings known as NEXT who wear sponsor logos while fighting crime on live television. Keiichi Satou (Karas director, The Big O character/mechanical designer) is helming the project with original character designs by manga creator Masakazu Katsura (DNA², I''s, Video Girl Ai, Zetman).
Viz Media is streaming the anime outside Japan as it airs.
