Daily Video: World End Economica by Spice & Wolf's Hasekura
posted on by Egan Loo
The Spicy Tails dōjin (self-published) circle began streaming the introductory promotional video above for its World End Economica novel game on Tuesday. Spice & Wolf novelist Isuna Hasekura wrote the story.
The novel game follows Yoshiharu ("Haru"), a boy born and raised on the moon after humans migrated there. His dream is to stand where no one has laid footsteps before — but to do that, he needs to earn money.
Isshiki Uwatsuki designed the characters, and Kisida Kyodan & The Akeboshi Rockets performed the "World End Economica" opening theme song. Ryuka created the movie sequences.
Spicy Tails will sell the project's first episode on the second day of this summer's Comic Market (Comiket) 80 event at the Tokyo Big Sight event center on August 13. The circle already offers a free demo version of the novel game online.
Hasekura just finished the main novels for Spice & Wolf in Japan this past February, although he is releasing an epilogue volume next month. Yen Press is publishing the fourth volume of the light novel series this month, and it published the second volume of Keito Koume's manga adaptation last July. Funimation licensed the two television anime series based on the light novel series.
