Pokemon.com to Run Flash-based Card Game Simulator

"Pokémon Trainer Challenge" serves as tutorial to trading card game
The Pokémon.com website announced today that it will release a Flash-based simulator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Planned for early 2011, the "Pokémon Trainer Challenge" simulator serves as a tutorial to the card game. In the simulator, users choose from several pre-constructed decks and battle with them against computer-controlled opponents.
Additionally, when the Pokémon TCG: Black and White starter decks go on sale in April, codes will be packaged to unlock them in the "Pokémon Trainer Challenge."
Past attempts at interactive version of the Pokémon TCG include the Pokémon Trading Card Game for Game Boy Color and the Play It! CD-ROM packaged in Base Set 2 starter packs in 2000.
