University of British Columbia announces February deadline for abstracts
The University of British Columbia's Cinephile journal issued a call last week for papers for an upcoming issue titled "Spirited Awry: Reassessing Anime." According to the description, the issue "seeks to address and tackle some of the overlooked aspects and problems of Japanese animation" and invites the submission of academic articles by graduate students and faculty. The deadline to submit an article abstract for the issue is February 28; accepted article drafts must be submitted by April 30.
Cinephile is a peer-edited academic journal operated by the University of British Columbia's Film Studies graduate program.
