Musicians, DJs celebrate hip-hop artist who co-composed Samurai Champloo
The entertainment promotions firm Toramaru Entertainment has announced that a group of artists will hold a February 17 tribute event to celebrate the works of Jun "Nujabes" Seba, a Japanese hip-hop producer who passed away last March. Seba was one of the composers for the music in the television anime series Samurai Champloo.
The "Peaceland: A World Without Words" event will feature scheduled performances by such artists and DJs as Bop Alloy, Pase Rock, Apani B, and Emancipator. The event will take place at the Bobby McKeys Night Club in National Harbor, Maryland. Tickets are available prior to the show for US$15, or at the door for US$20.
