Between November 25 and December 6, the Japanese portal site Cobs Online asked its registered users this question: Among the weapons or moves used by the main characters of manga, which one do you want to use?
Among 238 male respondents in their 20s, these were the top choices:
| 1 | Kamehame-ha | Dragon Ball | 65.5% |
| 2 | Hokuto Shinken | Fist of the North Star | 19.3% |
| 3 | Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki | Rurouni Kenshin | 11.3% |
| 4 | Gomu Gomu no Gatling | One Piece | 7.6% |
| 5 | Rasengan | Naruto | 6.7% |
Among 467 female respondents in their 20s, these were the top choices:
| 1 | Kamehame-ha | Dragon Ball | 63.5% |
| 2 | Gomu Gomu no Gatling | One Piece | 15.4% |
| 3 | Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki | Rurouni Kenshin | 11.2% |
