Daily Video: Good Smile Company's Racing Miku Porsche

The above video was posted to the official Nico Video channel for the Good Smile Company-sponsored Racing Miku project. In October, a car decorated with images of the virtual idol Hatsune Miku began making qualifying runs. The car, a Porsche 911 GT3 R, is part of the Racing Miku project, and is decorated with the image of virtual idol Hatsune Miku. The Good Smile Racing with Cox team previously fielded a Porsche 996 RSR.

Among the GSC's lines of merchandise is the popular Nendoroid line of SD-style characters. Later this month the company will release Nendoroid figures based on Racing Miku and two other Vocaloid2 virtual idols, Rin Kagamine and Luka Megurine. A 1:43 scale model of the Miku car can also be acquired at the Nico Video streaming website. The GSC is heavily involved in racing, and operates its own Good Smile Racing website.
