Daily Video: AKB48 Female Idol Group's Dating Game

The official YouTube channel for the female idol group AKB48 posted a four-minute promotional video for the group's AKB 1/48 Idol to Ai Shitara… (AKB 1/48 If I Were to Love an Idol…) "ultimate dating fantasy game" last week. The Sony PSP game is the first official, authorized home videogame based on this group from Tokyo's Akihabara district.
In the game, all 48 members will confess their love for the player, and the player will get to choose one of them for a unique "happy ending." The game will use 10,000 photographs of the members, as well as about 80 minutes of video of the members confessing their love to the player and full voice recordings of all the members' dialogue.
Four different versions of the game will ship in Japan on December 23. The Premiere Special Pack — the most expensive version — will include 48 1/1-scale life-size "kiss mark" imprint stickers from all the members and a Sony PSP-3000AKB system with 48 different "kiss mark" battery covers.
