Trivia:

The cars used are more precisely, a Lotus Europa Special for Lisa (the official Japanese site says Lotus Europe, which is wrong), a Lancia Stratos for Lorna and a Caterham Super Seven for Souichi Sugano. According to Tamiya.com, Souichi's car, the old-looking Super Seven is the newest! The JPE model was made in 1993, while Lisa's Lotus Europa Special was made in 1972 while the Lancia was made in 1970. Both the Europa and the Super 7 are based on the Lotus Seven, so they are cousins.

Out of all the cars in the éX-Drivers' garage, the most recent of them all is Lisa's Subaru Impreza WRC (1999). Out of all the cars in the anime, Toudou's Caterham 7 R500 Superlight and Satoru's Toyota MR-S (tuned by Tom's) are the most recent (2001)
