The post-credit scene from episode 12 sparked controversy due to its graphic scene of the Gundam Aerial Rebuild crushing a Dawn of Fold soldier and Suletta getting her pilot suit soaked in the resulting pool of blood. The Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization received complaints from parents, mainly because such level of violence was allowed to be broadcasted on an early Sunday evening time slot. For the South Korean broadcast of the episode, the blood was recolored black.
In episode 6, the Gundam Aerial's defensive system echoes that of the Unicorn Gundam's NT-D system in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
In episode 7, the Yoasobi version of the Demi Trainer makes a cameo appearance at the Incubation Party.
The scene where Guel Jeturk kills his father Vim during space combat in episode 12 echoes episode 17 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Season 2, when Andrei Smirnov killed his father Sergei during the Break Pillar Incident.
